The Solotrack, Falker’s automated soil compaction meter, is the ideal tool for collecting soil penetration resistance data in agronomic research.
The measurement is fully automated. An electric motor drives the penetration up to 60 cm, with measurement resolution every centimeter. All operations are controlled through the equipment’s built-in panel interface. The Solotrack has a total width of 50 cm, allowing analysis even in areas with some crops already planted.
It is powered by a rechargeable 12V / 40 Ah automotive gel battery, which allows up to 400 measurements per charge.

Field Operation
By measuring the resistance to penetration of a metal cone into the soil, the SoloTrack indicates, at various depths, the pressure values corresponding to soil compaction in each layer. The set of these values forms the soil compaction profile.
